Thank you for your interest regarding our SENIOR auditions for our Spring 2024 production!
We would like to invite you to our auditions on Friday 12th January 2024 which will be held at:
Junkyard Studios, 24a/25a Maple Estate, Stocks Lane, Barnsley S75 2BL.

Auditionees must be age 13-18.
The production will take place April 18 - 20 2024 at the Penistone Paramount Theatre (S36 6DY).
Rehearsals will commence on Friday January 19th 2024 6.30pm - 9.30pm.
Due to the scale of the production some Sunday rehearsals will be required with the ensemble/main cast. A full schedule will be sent out but please keep this in mind when auditioning.
WHAT TO PREPARE:
ENSEMBLE AUDITIONS 5.45pm - 7.15pm
Auditionees wishing to audition for the ensemble will be required to take part in a dance/movement call where they will learn a short MT Jazz routine. Please do not worry if you are a singer/actor - this is simply to see how you can move. Applicants will then take part in a group singing / acting workshop. You will not need to prepare anything in advance if auditioning for the ensemble.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.
NAMED ROLE AUDITIONS 5.45pm - 9pm
Auditionees wishing to audition for a named role will be required to take part in the above dance call where they will learn a short MT Jazz routine to a song from the production followed by a group singing/acting workshop. In addition to this please choose a contemporary musical theatre song of your choice to perform. Please bring a backing track.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water.
