Our Mission

• Junkyard Theatre Company was established in 2017 to provide the children of South Yorkshire and the surrounds with an outlet to showcase their talents.

• We aim to deliver expertise training through valuable performance experience and guest tuition.

• Company members are encouraged to forge creative relationships and work together to achieve fantastic results. We hope that these instilled core industry skills will stay with our members into their early careers and beyond.  

• We wish to engage young people, families and the wider community with performing arts - we use local theatres to stage full length musical theatre productions. Company members are treated as professional performers and rehearse for three to four months leading up to their opening night.

• We aim to inspire creative individuals to fulfil their potential and build upon their pre-existing talents.
