Chitty Junior Auditions 2025
Junkyard Theatre Company are proud to present Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
We are thrilled to bring this beloved classic to the Penistone Paramount stage 20 - 22nd November 2025 and can't wait to share it with you!
We are currently seeking talented young performers, aged 7-12, with prior stage or performance experience, to join our dedicated and hardworking team.
Rehearsals will take place on Friday evenings and will commence on 5th September 4.30pm - 6.30pm (this will extend to 8.30pm closer to the performance date)
Children will be also be required for some Sunday rehearsals leading up to the production.
Auditions will be held on Friday 4th July 4.30pm - 7.30pm.

What to prepare?

What to wear?
Please wear suitable clothing for a short movement/dance call.
What to bring?
Please bring a bottle of water labelled with your name.
Our audition tips:
1. Prepare your material - it will always look better to an audition panel if you have taken the time to learn the song.
2. Think about your performance and acting through song. The material will need to be performed in character and with stage presence.
3. Do your research. A panel can always tell if you have studied the characters and understand the story.
4. Be confident and try your best! No one can ask for anything more!
