Auditions will be held on Sunday 1st February

Junkyard Theatre Company are proud to present Moana JR!

We are thrilled to bring this Disney hit to the Penistone Paramount stage 7th June 2026 and can't wait to share it with you!

We are currently seeking talented young performers, aged 7-12, with prior stage or performance experience, to join our dedicated and hardworking team.

Rehearsals will take place on Friday evenings and will commence on 6th February 4.30pm - 6.30pm (this will extend to 8.30pm in April )

Children will be also be required for some Sunday rehearsals leading up to the production.

Dress Rehearsal: Sunday 31st May

There will be a one off production fee of £220 which will cover:

All rehearsals/training from Feb - June
Costumes
Production week

Auditions will be held on Sunday 1st February 9.30am - 1.00pm.

Finding Us:
As you reach the top of Stocks Lane, you’ll see two car parks - one straight ahead and one to the right. Please turn right into the car park with the large “PET FEEDS” sign. From there, head up the concrete stairs and through the double doors to access the studios.

What to wear?

Please wear suitable clothing for a short movement/dance call.

What to bring?

Please bring a bottle of water labelled with your name.

Our audition tips:

1. Prepare your material - it will always look better to an audition panel if you have taken the time to learn the song.

2. Think about your performance and acting through song. The material will need to be performed in character and with stage presence.
